Important FAQs About Rental

What is required to rent?

For most tools and Event supplies, a NYS Driver's license or other valid photo ID is sufficient.

For Trailers, trailer lifts, or any machinery that needs to be placed on your trailer or ours, a valid/current insurance ID card will be necessary in order to rent. Only the vehicle covered by a valid insurance card can be used.

**NOTE: Tow vehicles must be equipped with a proper hitch, lighting & breaking systems which are in compliance with State, Federal, and local laws.

Is a deposit required?

No, we do not require a deposit to rent any items, although the item or equipment shall remain at the premises stated on the rental agreement except during transportation. You will be held responsible for any damages (not due to normal wear and tear)/fees/or fines/court costs up to and including the full replacement cost of the equipment.

Do I have to do anything special to make sure the item I want is available when I come to pick it up?
It is recommended that a deposit be placed on any item you want available for a certain time. A 50% down-payment will hold the item for you.

What happens if I place a deposit on an item and then decide I cannot take it?

A full refund of the deposit will be given with 8 days or more notice of cancellation prior to the rental date. A 50% refund of the deposit fee will be given if notified 4-7 days prior and no refund of the deposit will be given 3 days or less prior to the event. (The one exception to this is in the case of our heavy equipment where weather prevents being able to perform the job you intended with the rental. In this case we require a 48 hour prior notice of cancellation for a full refund.)
